Background & Experience
|
Lee joined NAI Capital in 2006 as Executive Vice President of the firm’s Encino Office to enhance the overall capability of the regional management and Corporate Services platform. Lee’s expertise of over 25 years includes three years as managing principal of Newmark Knight Frank’s Southern California Region and 12 years as an Executive Director at Cushman & Wakefield where he managed several national corporate accounts. Prior to that time, Mr. Black was with TOLD Real Estate Corporation.
As the Account Executive for GTE/Verizon, Mr. Black oversaw one of the most successful outsourcing relationships within Cushman & Wakefield’s history. This strategic partnership included services for transaction management for nearly 1,000 assignments comprising over 3,000,000 square feet in 416 locations across the United States and over 300 surplus property dispositions. Additionally, the partnership included strategic planning and portfolio administration of over 800 leases through an 11-person team led by Mr. Black. His broad and significant experience will contribute to the global effort extended by the Southern California team.
He has completed over 10,000,000 square feet of transactions and works with clients in all fields and has particular expertise in the technology, biotech, and financial industries.

- Advisor for Sears Corporation for the disposition of a 330,000 square foot Distribution Center in Chatsworth, CA.

- Advisor to LBA Realty for the purchase of a 261,000 sf office campus from Verizon in Westlake Village, CA
